I saw a ghost (prob gm in stealth) & can we have a Forum Sub Section for these things

Could we have a small members only subsection and say call it
'Security, Bans, Suspensions'

Don't panic its just I feel its not appropriate to always post in the General Discussion Section.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share this small peace of information, I was grinding a ppather profile 74-77 Grizzly Hills the one linked on the forums. And I enabled the option stop moving if player character in the profile section of wowrobot.

While alt tabed for a while i came back to tender to my bot, and i see in the logs its just recasting its bufs every so often but doesn't move or engage in combat, i got worried, turned on the ' radar function' and right on top of me was a Blue circle at 1st though that's me but after reading the Legend I noticed my colour should be red and indeed the blue and red where right over each other, then the blue circle moved very fast away into the distance, I was looking around but there was nothing.

Conclusion: I think a GM was watching my bot in stealth mode.

I am going to lay low a bit let the bot cool off for a few days, still feel visibly shaken, will report if anything further happens...

NB: I suggest you all have that function enabled if there is a nearby player.

PS: coudl we get a auto shut down of wowrobot if followed or watched by a player say after a X period of time like glider used to have, I think that functionality would be very important to up security.

There are nearly 10 Mio. Players online at the same time, world wide and how many GM's want you to pay to make it possible to observe an individual character ^^

Do you think they are looking for a needle in a haystack? ;-)

They do not have visual tools for their advises, they only have a Webform where they can check your Characters Coords, Items. They are not able to see if you are in a group or raid, they can not see what you are doing.

Warden is always watching ;-)

They are able and allowed to scan your Window titles and check Memory Space, but warden is only scanning in WOW.EXE Memspace not outside, but this could be change anytime. ^^ When it will be, I don't know ^^

You cant see GMs in the radar, because the information about their location isnt sent to the client.

Also, you dont see a rogue in stealth, for same reason.

It was probably a player flying above you, but out of range of view.

That probably would make sense the profile is close to a city and overhead is a fp probably right under the grind area, wheu.. well all good then back to business. But using own profiles is always a bonus, can't hurt.
